What is From Stuck to Momentum Course ?

In this course, From Stuck to Momentum: Managing the Period Between Your Closed Door and Your Next Phase of Life, Daniel Kamanga shares life insights he has gained, including career transitions from the media to financial services and from technology to agriculture.  He shares secrets of transiting from one organization to another; over a period that spans over 30 years, Daniel worked for various organization. He explains how one of the transitions almost got him stuck and how he pulled out of the quagmire of indecision.

Moving from one employer to another has given me tremendous experience on how to handle work and career transitions.  As a Kenyan who studied in Kenya and the United Kingdom and later settled in South Africa, am also widely travelled in Europe, the USA, Asia and Africa.

I’ve been married for over 25 years and – with my wife – raised three adult children. Although there is still a lot to learn, being in my “second half” of life also means I been stuck frequently enough; I’ve not mastered it, but I can share my experiences on how to gain momentum.

Am the Founder and CEO of the Africa Leadership Transformation (ALT) Foundation, which is introducing leadership frameworks rooted in ontology (the study of being) and phenomenology (the study of consciousness and the objects of direct experience). 

My multi-sectoral experience in Africa’s private sector (media, telecoms & financial services), as well as the development sector (micro-finance and agriculture) gives me powerful insights into the challenges of being stuck and the need for momentum, both in one’s career and in life.

How much time is recommended to complete the course?

For best results, we recommend you schedule one hour for each lesson; mark this in your calendar right now. Treat these as important appointments and do not change them because something else has come up.

We recommend that have a notebook to write your notes, focusing on insights the videos give you.  Remember, it’s not how much you know from the video, it’s what you uncover about your being stuck – about your life – that really makes a difference.

How quickly will I see results?

How much does the course cost?

  • The full value of the course is US$120; however, the launch price is a once-off course fee is US$35, paid before you start the third module. (The first two modules are free and will help you decide whether you want to make the full investment or not)
  • At the end of the course, participants can nominate or sponsor someone else for a fee of $35, before the price increase to $50 for the second course to be held in October 2020.

  • Registration Dates: For this inaugural course, only 50 participants will be admitted. Please register on or before 15 August 2020. Should the course be fully subscribed, you will be given the option of joining the second class at the same price (as long as you have paid)

 

What is your refund or withdrawal policy?

  • Those who pay for the inaugural course but are unable to secure a place – and they do not wish to attend the second course – will be fully refunded
  • All other refunds are subject to an administration fee of 10% of course tuition
  • No refunds can be made if request is made 72 hours before the start of the course
